Frequently Asked Questions
The trims you need depend on your installation. As a guide: internal corner trims where two walls meet, external corner trims for outside corners, edge/end trims where panels stop (around doors, windows), H-section joiners to join panels on the same wall, and quadrant trims where panels meet a bath or shower tray. Our team can advise on exactly what you need.
We offer trims in a range of colours including white, chrome, silver, black, and other shades to match or complement your chosen panels. White and chrome trims are the most versatile and work with virtually any panel colour.
PVC trims are simple to fit. For most trims, you slot the first panel edge into the trim, fix the trim to the wall or batten, then continue panelling. Some trims are inserted between panels as you work across the wall. Trims can be cut to length with a fine-toothed saw or sharp knife.
We recommend using clear silicone sealant in addition to trims in wet areas such as bathrooms and showers. Apply a thin bead of sealant inside the trim channels and around any fixtures. This provides an extra layer of waterproofing. In dry areas, trims alone are usually sufficient.
We recommend using a high-quality grab adhesive or specialist panel adhesive. Apply in vertical beads approximately 300mm apart on the back of each panel. For installations over timber battens, you can use stainless steel pins, screws, or staples. Avoid solvent-based adhesives as these can damage PVC panels.
