Frequently Asked Questions
Our PVC splashback panels are designed to withstand normal kitchen temperatures and are suitable for use behind hobs, cookers, and ovens. However, they should not be placed in direct contact with naked flames. We recommend maintaining a minimum gap of 200mm between a gas hob flame and the panel surface. Electric and induction hobs are absolutely fine.
PVC splashback panels offer several advantages over glass. They're significantly more affordable, much easier to install (no specialist fitting required), and won't shatter if impacted. They're also easier to cut around sockets and switches. Our panels come in a huge range of designs at a fraction of the cost of glass.
Absolutely. Our splashback panels are 100% waterproof, making them perfect for behind sinks and taps. They protect your walls from splashes and are incredibly easy to wipe clean. Simply cut the panel to size, create any necessary cut-outs for taps, and adhere to the wall.
Our splashback panels can be easily cut to size using standard tools. A fine-toothed saw, jigsaw, or even a sharp craft knife and straight edge will produce a clean cut. For cut-outs around sockets, mark the area carefully, drill corner holes, and cut between them with a jigsaw.
We recommend using a high-quality panel adhesive or grab adhesive. Apply in vertical beads approximately 300mm apart on the back of the panel, then press firmly against the wall. For a secure bond, the wall should be clean, dry, and free from loose material.
Yes, you can fit our splashback panels directly over existing tiles as long as the tiles are securely fixed, clean, and dry. This saves the hassle of removing old tiles and makes for a quick kitchen refresh. Simply apply adhesive and press the new panel over the tiled surface.
